Okay, so that PlayStation 4 Pro update forThe Witcher 3might have takenlonger than expected, but the important part is that it’s here. The update is live as of this morning, providing players with “support for 4K resolution and a slight boost to performance” in the core game and its add-on content.
There isn’t HDR support in this patch, but it sounds like Pro owners with a 1080p display can benefit fromsupersampling, which is a pleasant surprise. That’s not always the case for these sorts of updates.
Xbox One X players will also get a 4K update forThe Witcher 3later this year.
