Phew! CD Projekt Red certainly had a lot of good news if you’re a fan ofThe Witchergames. With the Xbox 360 version ofThe Witcher 2arriving soon, CD Projekt Red announced a few things this afternoon to whet your appetite for Geralt and co. a little further.
First, the developers have guaranteed thatThe Witcher 2will be available through UK retail chain GAME, despite their recent troubles. Also announced is a freeThe Witcher 2interactive comic available for iOS devices on April 17th. The devs are also letting fans get their hands on1000 review copies of the game, so if you fancy writing a review, sign yourself up.
The originalWitcheris getting some attention too, with a Mac version of the game available right now on Steam, which is free if you already own the PC version. Also free is aDRM-free backup ofThe Witcheravailable n April 17th, regardless of where you purchased your original copy from. So if your dog ate your originalWitcherdisc (or somehow managed to eat your Steam account), you’ve still got your game.
