I don’t mind theResident Evilfilms all that much. Wait, what? No no, I don’t mind the CGI films — I’m glad the live action series is ending (thoughit literally killed someonein the making of the last one).

The next officialResident Evilfilm will indeed be CGI, handled by Marzan Animation. It’s a work in progress calledResident Evil: Vendetta, and will be out sometime in 2017. I’ll probably catch it when it hits streaming services.
