Genso Rondo
TouhougameGenso Rondois coming west this summer, NIS America just announced.
The shoot-’em-up fighting game hybrid will hold the distinction of being the firstTouhou Projectgame to be officially localized for western release. Developed by doujinsoft circle Cubetype,Genso Rondowas originally distributed at Comiket 82 in August 2012 as a PC game.
The version getting localized, however, is a PlayStation 4 port, which Cubetype released in Japan last June and across Asia earlier this month, as part of Sony’s “Play, Doujin!” program.
Last year, Playism releasedTouhou 14: Double Dealing Charactervia its English storefront, but the game was strangely unlocalized, prompting players to use fan translation patches.
