At the beginning of their journey, players are likely to find less powerful items, but as they progress, the frequency of obtaining relatively powerful items increases.

Normal items (White)

Normal items are distinguished by their white color and are commonly found, especially in the early stages of the game. These items belong to the lowest rarity tier. Normal items do not possess any affixes, making them relatively basic in terms of their attributes and abilities. Typically, you’ll be utilizing these items to occupy your equipment slots until you come across higher rarity items that offer superior benefits.

Magic items (Blue)

Moving up the rarity ladder, we have Magic items, distinguished by their blue color. Despite the name, these items are not exclusive to spellcasters. It won’t take too long before you stumble upon one of these items during your journey. Magic items can have one affix, granting them additional properties or bonuses. Moreover, they tend to boast higher stats compared to the normal ones, making them a desirable upgrade in terms of power and effectiveness.

Rare items (Yellow)

Continuing the progression, next are Rare items, which provide a significant boost to your journey. While the previous item rarities may be sufficient for survival, Rare items elevate your gameplay experience by offering substantial advantages. These items can have three to five affixes and in addition, boast considerably improved stats compared to lower-tier items.

Legendary items (Orange)

Among the rarest and second-best items in the game are the Legendary items. These highly coveted items possess a total of four regular affixes and an additional legendary affix, making them incredibly potent. Legendary items are often discovered as rewards for clearing strongholds or defeating formidable bosses. It’s worth noting that, unlike the previous three item rarities, Legendary items cannot be traded between players.

Unique items (Gold)

After a long-awaited comeback fromDiablo 2, Unique items are back as the pinnacle of item rarity. These extraordinary items have the ability to significantly enhance your class abilities, offering unique and powerful bonuses. It’s important to note that you’re able to only equip one Unique item at a time and similar to Legendary items, Unique items cannot be traded.
