What a brilliant idea
It never dawned on me how well the characters, world, and tone ofZombies Ate My Neighborscould work within the confines ofDoom. Thankfully, a modder named Dude27thput two and two together.
The water gun, soda cans, bazooka, and babies – it all just fundamentally works!
ThisDoom IItotal-conversion project isn’t finished – in fact, the last update was pushed in July 2019 – but the footage captured by YouTube user Smokeanaut warms my horror-loving heart all the same.
This game may never come back in style in an official capacity, but fans will never let it die.
