The image showcased some… odd-looking creature (a staple ofSubnauticagames, to be fair), along with the line: “Hey um, found this on my way to the rocket....

Super Chuck Norris Bros: Sux 2BU Mario

Looks like someone took our idea for a Chuck Norris fighting video game (seen below), and strained out all the plot and dialogue into one moment of unadulterated M-Bison-Mario-asskicking worthiness. If you’ve ever wondered what exactly the repercussion of a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick sprite would be in Mario’s homeland, then you are very very bold. Chuck Norris could save the princess in one Bowser – too bad Chuck Norris killed Mario instead....

The nominees for Destructoid’s best strategy game of 2012

Best of 2012 All games are, at their core, exercises of risk versus reward. Few genres demonstrate this more capably than the games we consider “strategic.” The best titles in this field strike a balance by making moment-to-moment decisions feel just as tense and important as considering the larger scope of a scenario, and create a level of investment on the part of the player which makes them feel as though the event at hand has genuine import to their lives....

This Thief Town trailer is exactly what I’ll mimic if I ever create one

I want to be these guys when I grow up Thief Townis an 8-bit multiplayer-only stealth game that pits you against your friends in the Wild West. It looks adorable, but that’s not the only reason I’m interested. The trailer above is what’s truly piqued my interest. It’s a hilarious, tongue-in-cheek nod to the over-the-top commercial spots of yesteryear. You know, the days before every other trailer featured rap or a cover of an older tune that paints the game in a much more dramatic light than is actually necessary?...

Upscale Starfield’s planets with this 8K texture pack

One of the biggest draws aboutStarfieldis thenumber of planetsyou can explore. It’s not so much an open-world game as it is more of an open-galaxy title. You see, whileStarfield‘s planets do look pretty good, especially from low orbit, they evidently could stand to look prettier. That’s whyNexus Modsuser Revan (as spotted byDSO Gaming) has brought us their texture pack for a visual boost to some of the game’s planets....
